Blogging for fun or for Business:
There are many different pet bloggers. Some just blog for fun and to share their adorable pets with others. There are bloggers that are promoting a cause, there are bloggers that want to help or give their audience information that they want or need.
But, if you want to be successful as a blogger, whether to make money or to just get people to actually read your blog, it’s not easy. You have to be a jack-of-all-trades. You have to be proficient as:
- A webmaster
- writer
- editor
- photographer
- videographer
- marketer
- salesman or saleswoman (either of a product or of yourself)
As a “newbie” in the world of blogging, I have had to learn from trial and error. That’s why BlogPaws is such a wonderful resource for those just beginning.
What is A BlogPaws Conference?
We traveled by car approximately 1,312 miles there and 1,312 miles back from our home to the 2017 BlogPaws conference in Myrtle Beach, SC.
The BlogPaws conference is for every kind of pet blogger. It’s where we all get together and network, share our successes and get help with every part of blogging from experts in the field. Whether it is getting sponsors, working with brands, writing, or monetizing their blog, we can find expert help and advice there. It is fun and inspiring. Often bloggers find their “cause” or “mission” while there.
I found mine at the 2017 Blog Paws conference. I began this website wanting to help other Chihuahua owners, but I had a rather broad idea of what that meant. While I was there, it occurred to me that what I wanted to do was help keep Chihuahuas out of shelters and to stop the abuse of Chihuahuas. Chihuahuas are one of the breeds that are found most often in shelters. They are also one of the breeds that are most often taken from owners and given to rescue shelters because of some type of abuse. That to me is unacceptable!
I believe that if we work together we can help change that and help these little, precious dogs have a better life. Sometimes, abuse can come from pure frustration after trying and trying to train or change an unwanted behavior in a dog.
Sometimes people may surrender their dogs because they just weren’t prepared or informed enough on how to raise and train a Chihuahua.
I want ChiChis And Me to be the place where Chihuahua parents can come for advice, and help for any question they may have or for any problem they may have.
Although I have many years of experience raising Chihuahuas and have encountered and overcome many of the things that Chihuahua owners may come across, and need help with. I am not an expert. But, I promise you that if I don’t know the answer, I will find an expert that does.
I will be working with veterinarians, trainers, and others that are experts in their fields to get you the help you need, whatever that may be.
