How Do You Know If Your Chihuahua Is Spoiled

Is your Chihuahua spoiled? Here are 5 ways to know if your Chihuahua is spoiled.

1. He is allowed on the furniture at all times

Of course! All my dogs are allowed on my furniture at any time. But they know that humans always come first.

If you don’t want your dogs on your furniture, be sure to establish that rule from day one. Be consistent. If you allow it one day and the next day you just let it go, your poor dog is going to be very confused. When that happens, good luck keeping them off the furniture!

It can be difficult to keep the furniture clean, especially when you have 4 dogs and a cat like I do, but here’s my secret:

I have these on all my furniture. Washable!

  • 100% Water Proof
  • Great Fit-XL Sofa, Sofa, Loveseat, Chair, Wing Chair, Chaise Lounge
  • Triple Non-Slip
  • 6 Beautiful Colors To Choose From

This ChomChom Roller is rated the very best at actually removing hair. I love it and don’t know how I ever got along without it!

2. Your Chihuahua Has Too Many Dog Toys & You're always buying more!

Toys are more than just a bit of fun for your dog. They stop them from getting bored and causing trouble around your home, such as scratching at furniture or digging up the garden. Having suitable objects for your dog to chew and play with helps keep them stimulated, entertained, happy, and healthy.

Here’s a tip: dogs, like children, get bored with the same ol’ toys. Try dividing them into thirds keep one-third available and put the other two-thirds away. Then just change them out every 3 months. Wala! New toys and you didn’t spend a dime!

These are two toys that I would not do without!

3. he/she has an endless supply of treats

As much as they’d like to, our dogs can’t come with us everywhere we go. Not only do treats help keep pups content in our absence, but they also offer extra stimulation throughout the day that helps dogs satisfy some of their innate instincts passed down from their wild ancestors – like chewing.

Hiding treats for your pooch to discover will help keep your dog occupied and give them something good to chew on while you’re out. Dogs love chewing so, along with helping to alleviate boredom, treats might just save your new shoes and sofa from getting gnawed! strengthen the bond between you.”

4. your bed is also their bed

If your dog isn’t sleeping in your bed, you all are missing out. It’s like having your childhood stuffed toys come to life just to cuddle with you. We wouldn’t have it any other way!

BUT, if your Chihuahua takes over the bed, and/or won’t move or won’t let you in your own bed he or she needs to learn it is a privilege not a right to sleep in a human’s bed.

5. if you can't take your chihuahua with you, you won't go

If you can’t take your dog to something, will you still go?

We hate to leave them behind, but sometimes it’s necessary. There are places where dogs just can’t be.

Some people stay home if they can’t bring their Chihuahua with them.

If you do take yours with you, make sure your dog behaves well when you take her along, but also go places without her sometimes.

It’s good for both of you to have some alone time.
